What Magic set has a 1995 copyright?
And a white border? I can't find anything about it.
It is not Revised. Revised (also known as Third Edition) had no copyright date. The bottom of the card had "Illustration (Copyright) (Artist's Name)" because Wizards of the Coast was not yet rich enough to buy the rights to the pictures outright. The artist kept the copyright on the pic. Anything before revised has a black border.
Fourth Edition had "Illus. (Artist's Name)" and below that "(Copyright) 1995, Wizards of the Coast All rights reserved." It also had a white border and NO symbol.
Fifth Edition had the same format as Fourth with a copyright date of 1997.
Sixth Edition was the first to use the Roman Numeral as the symbol.
If your cards have a white border, no symbol and copyright 1995, they are Fourth Edition. If they have a symbol and a black border, then they came from either Ice Age (snowflake symbol) or Homelands (globe looking symbol). If there is a 1995 copyright, a symbol, and a white border, then it's from Chronicles.
By the way, all set symbols are located on the right side of the card, between the illustration and the text box. Do not assume that the cards are common if the symbol is black. On cards before 1997, there was no way to tell the difference between common, uncommon and rare unless you looked it up in an Inquest magazine.
