With hundreds of corporate magicians in the UK, selecting the one is not an impossible task, but finding the best is definitely not that easy. This is due to the fact that all magicians claim to provide outstanding magical performance, but only few are actually able to do so. Most corporate magicians end up putting an amateur show in front of the audience thus affecting the corporate image of the host.

If you are thinking of hiring the corporate magician, you may keep these few tips in mind to make the right decision.

Ask your friends or colleagues if they know of any good corporate magician. Hiring the corporate magician whom others have hired in the past is always a better decision than going for someone whom no one has ever heard about. Or, you may read reviews about few of the corporate magicians that you shortlisted from local newspapers, yellow pages, or telephone directories.

Even the Internet is full of websites that belong to London magicians. You may visit such websites and see what others have to say about their performance.

If you find certain reviews or feedback interesting, study that particular corporate magician's website thoroughly. Find out what are the various magical illusion tricks that the magician excels in. Does he offer close-up magic or is he a stage magician?

When going through the website, see if there are any videos or images of the close-up magician performing live in front of the audience. If yes, watch them to evaluate the effectiveness of his acts. If the corporate magician is genuine and is renowned for his acts, he would have surely incorporated the scenes capturing the facial expressions of the audience. If the audience are shown as frightened and then clapping and laughing out of amazement, the corporate magician is definitely worth hiring.

You may also visit such a corporate magician personally and request him to give you a live demonstration of some of his famous magical acts. Request him to give you brochures, CDS, and DVDs. Take them home and watch them before you finally sign him up for the event.

To ensure you get the most of the money you are spending, have a clear cut discussion on the duration for which the close-up magician would be performing, the number of acts that he would present, and what if he doesn't turn up on the exact time. Draw up a proper contract. This would ensure that the close up magician would offer you his best as he would have to compensate in case of any negligence on his part.
